By linking Facebook Insights with EverythingData, you can create automated reports, develop custom dashboards, and gain insights into your social media impact. This integration provides a centralized view of key metrics, helping you improve content strategies, engage audiences effectively, and strengthen your social media presence.
Prerequisites for Connecting Facebook Insights
Before connecting Facebook Insights to EverythingData, make sure you meet these prerequisites:
- Facebook Business Manager Account with Admin Access: You must have administrative access to the Facebook Pages you want to connect. Admin access ensures that EverythingData can retrieve page-level metrics and insights.
- Permissions: Confirm that your Facebook account has the necessary permissions to access Insights data for the selected Pages. If managing multiple pages, verify permissions for each one.
- Active Facebook Pages with Data: Ensure the Pages you wish to connect are active and have recent activity. Pages without recent data may lack meaningful insights for reporting and analysis.
Steps to Connect Facebook Insights to EverythingData
Follow these steps to set up and configure the Facebook Insights integration with EverythingData:
- Log into EverythingData and Access Data Sources
- Sign in to your everythingData account and go to the main dashboard.
- Navigate to the Data Sources section to view all available integrations.
- Locate Facebook Insights in the data sources list and click Connect to start the setup process.
- Authenticate with Facebook
- After selecting Facebook Insights, you’ll be redirected to Facebook’s login page.
- Sign in with the Facebook account and have administrative access to the Facebook Pages you want to connect to.
- When prompted, authorize EverythingData to access your Pages’ Insights data, allowing the integration to retrieve metrics such as reach, impressions, engagement, and demographics.
- After selecting Facebook Insights, you’ll be redirected to Facebook’s login page.
- Select Facebook Pages for Integration
- Once authenticated, you will see a list of all Facebook Pages linked to your account.
- Connect to EverythingData by selecting one or multiple pages. This option is particularly useful for managing multiple brand pages or client accounts.
- Click Next to proceed to the data sync configuration.

- Configure Data Sync Preferences
- Choose your preferred data sync frequency to ensure up-to-date reports:
- Daily Sync: Recommended for pages with high engagement that require frequent monitoring.
- Weekly Sync: Suitable for accounts with lower activity or broader trend analysis.
- Depending on your reporting timeframe, select the data range for syncing, such as the last 30, 60, or 90 days.
- Specify key metrics and dimensions, like post reach, engagement rates, and audience demographics, to align the data with your social media goals.
- Choose your preferred data sync frequency to ensure up-to-date reports:
- Test Connection and Confirm Settings
- Test the connection to verify that EverythingData can access your Facebook Insights data.
- Review sync settings, including frequency and selected metrics, and click Save and Confirm to complete the setup. everythingData will initiate the data import and begin syncing based on your schedule.
- Access and Customize Facebook Insights Reports in EverythingData
- After integration, access your Facebook Insights data in the Reports section of everythingData.
- Use everythingData’s analytics tools to create customized dashboards that display key metrics, apply filters by demographic or geographic parameters, and blend Facebook Insights data with other sources like Instagram or Google Analytics for a holistic view of your digital presence.
