The Google Business Profile (GBP) integration with EverythingData allows you to access and analyze key insights about your business’s online presence, including metrics like customer searches, views, driving direction requests, phone calls, and ratings. By connecting GBP to EverythingData, you can visualize and track your GBP data in real-time, helping you better understand your audience, optimize your local SEO, and improve customer engagement. This integration streamlines reporting by consolidating essential data from your GBP profile, enabling you to make data-driven decisions to boost visibility and grow your business.
Prerequisites
Before connecting Google Business Profile to EverythingData, make sure you meet the following requirements:
- Google account with GBP admin access: You must have administrative access to the GBP account(s) you intend to connect. This access ensures that EverythingData can pull essential data from each location you manage.
- Permissions: Confirm that your Google account has the necessary permissions to access the GBP listing(s) you want to connect. If you manage multiple locations, verify permissions for each one.
- Active GBP listing with recent data: Ensure that the GBP listing(s) you wish to connect are active and have recent engagement data. Listings without recent activity may not provide meaningful insights.
Steps to Connect Google Business Profile to EverythingData
- Log into EverythingData and access data sources
- Sign in to your EverythingData account and navigate to the main dashboard.
- Go to the Data Sources section, where you can view all available connectors.
- Locate Google Business Profile in the list and click Connect to begin the setup process.
- Authenticate with Google
- After selecting Google Business Profile, you will be redirected to Google’s login page.
- Log in with the Google account that has administrative access to your GBP listings.
- When prompted, authorize EverythingData to access your GBP data. This authorization allows EverythingData to retrieve key metrics like searches, reviews, direction requests, and calls.

- Select GBP locations for integration
- After authentication, you’ll see a list of GBP locations associated with your account.
- Select one or multiple locations you want to connect. This is useful if you manage multiple storefronts or service areas, as it allows centralized reporting for all locations.
- Click Next to proceed to data sync configuration.
- Configure data sync preferences
- Set your preferred data sync frequency:
- Daily sync: Ideal for locations with high engagement requiring real-time updates.
- Weekly sync: Suitable for less active listings or broader trend analysis.
- Choose your data range for syncing (e.g., last 30, 60, or 90 days) based on your reporting needs.
- Select the metrics and dimensions you want to prioritize, such as customer actions, reviews, and ratings.
- Set your preferred data sync frequency:
- Test connection and confirm settings
- Test the connection to ensure EverythingData can successfully access your GBP data.
- Review your settings, then click Save and Confirm to finalize the setup. EverythingData will begin syncing data based on your chosen preferences.
- Access and customize Google Business Profile reports
- Once the integration is complete, access your GBP data in EverythingData’s Reports section.
- Use the platform’s reporting tools to build custom dashboards, apply filters by location or metric, and blend GBP data with other sources like Google Analytics for a comprehensive view of your customer engagement.
- Generate detailed reports tracking critical metrics, such as user searches, location actions, and customer reviews, helping you enhance your online presence and engagement strategy.
