Overview

The Snapchat Ads integration with EverythingData allows you to analyze your Snapchat ad campaigns alongside other digital marketing efforts, offering a comprehensive view of your campaign performance. By connecting Snapchat Ads to EverythingData, you can track key metrics such as impressions, swipe-ups, video views, and conversions, helping you better understand your ad effectiveness, optimize ad spend, and maximize engagement with Snapchat’s unique audience.

Prerequisites

Before connecting Snapchat Ads to EverythingData, ensure you meet the following requirements:

  • Snapchat Ads Manager account: You must have an active Snapchat Ads Manager account with administrator access to the ad accounts you want to connect.
  • Snapchat API access: Confirm that your Snapchat Ads Manager account has API access enabled. This is required for EverythingData to retrieve data from Snapchat Ads.
  • Active campaigns with recent ad performance data: Ensure the campaigns you wish to analyze are active and generating data. This will provide meaningful insights and allow for better reporting.

Steps to Connect Snapchat Ads to EverythingData

  1. Log into EverythingData and access data sources
    • Sign in to your EverythingData account and navigate to the dashboard.
    • Go to the Data Sources section to view all available connectors.
    • Locate Snapchat Ads in the list and click Connect to initiate the integration setup.
  2. Authenticate with Snapchat Ads
    • You’ll be redirected to the Snapchat login page to authenticate your account.
    • Sign in with the Snapchat account that has admin permissions for the ads you wish to connect.
    • Grant EverythingData permission to access your Snapchat Ads data, including metrics like impressions, clicks, swipe-ups, and conversions.
  3. Select ad accounts for integration
    • After authenticating, you’ll see a list of ad accounts associated with your Snapchat login.
    • Select the specific ad accounts you want to connect to EverythingData. This is particularly useful if you manage multiple Snapchat Ads accounts.
    • Click Next to proceed with data sync settings.
  4. Configure data sync preferences
    • Choose your data sync frequency:
      • Daily sync: Recommended for campaigns requiring frequent performance updates.
      • Weekly sync: Useful for broader trends and insights.
    • Define a data range, such as the last 7, 30, or 90 days, based on your reporting needs.
    • Select the primary metrics for analysis, including impressions, cost per swipe-up (CPSU), video views, and conversions, to ensure relevant data is imported.
  5. Test connection and confirm settings
    • Run a connection test to verify that EverythingData can successfully retrieve data from Snapchat Ads.
    • Review your configuration and click Save and Confirm to finalize the setup. EverythingData will begin syncing data from Snapchat Ads based on the settings you’ve specified.
  6. Access and customize Snapchat Ads reports
    • Once the integration is complete, go to the Reports section in EverythingData to view and analyze your Snapchat Ads data.
    • Use the reporting tools to create custom dashboards, filter by campaign or ad group, and blend Snapchat data with other advertising sources for a holistic view of your digital marketing efforts.
    • Generate reports to track metrics such as engagement rate, video completion rate, and cost efficiency, helping you make data-driven adjustments to improve your Snapchat ad performance.
