Overview

The TikTok Ads integration with EverythingData allows you to analyze your TikTok advertising performance in a centralized dashboard, providing insights into metrics like impressions, clicks, video views, and conversions. By connecting TikTok Ads to EverythingData, you can effectively measure your ad reach and engagement, optimize ad spend, and enhance campaign effectiveness for TikTok’s highly engaged audience.

Prerequisites

Before connecting TikTok Ads to EverythingData, make sure the following prerequisites are met:

  • TikTok for Business account: You need an active TikTok Ads Manager account with administrator permissions for the ad accounts you wish to connect.
  • TikTok API access: Verify that your TikTok Ads account has API access enabled, allowing EverythingData to retrieve performance data.
  • Recent campaign data: Ensure that the campaigns you want to track are active and generating engagement, as this will ensure meaningful data insights.

Steps to Connect TikTok Ads to EverythingData

  1. Log into EverythingData and access data sources
    • Sign in to your EverythingData account and open the main dashboard.
    • Navigate to the Data Sources section and select TikTok Ads from the list.
    • Click Connect to start the integration process.
  2. Authenticate with TikTok Ads
    • You’ll be redirected to TikTok’s login page to authenticate your account.
    • Sign in using the TikTok Ads account with admin permissions for the ads you want to connect.
    • Grant EverythingData the necessary permissions to access data from TikTok Ads, including metrics such as impressions, clicks, video views, and conversions.
  3. Select ad accounts for integration
    • After authenticating, you’ll see a list of available TikTok ad accounts linked to your login.
    • Choose the specific ad accounts you want to integrate with EverythingData, which is especially useful if you manage multiple TikTok Ads accounts.
    • Click Next to proceed to the data sync configuration.
  4. Configure data sync preferences
    • Choose your data sync frequency based on how often you need updated data:
      • Daily sync: Ideal for campaigns that require near real-time performance tracking.
      • Weekly sync: Suitable for tracking broader trends and overall campaign effectiveness.
    • Select a data range, such as the last 7, 30, or 90 days, depending on your reporting needs.
    • Pick the primary metrics for tracking, such as cost per click (CPC), cost per thousand impressions (CPM), video completion rate, and conversions, to focus on data most relevant to your goals.
  5. Test connection and confirm settings
    • Run a connection test to confirm that EverythingData can successfully pull data from TikTok Ads.
    • Review the configuration settings, and once verified, click Save and Confirm. EverythingData will start syncing your TikTok Ads data based on the chosen settings.
  6. Access and customize TikTok Ads reports
    • Once the integration is complete, go to the Reports section in EverythingData to view and analyze TikTok Ads data.
    • Use the reporting tools to create custom dashboards, apply filters by campaign, ad set, or geographic location, and blend TikTok data with other ad platforms for a comprehensive view.
    • Generate reports to track key metrics, optimize your ad spend, and refine your TikTok ad strategy based on detailed insights into engagement, video performance, and conversion rates.
